Raising Funds to purchase a Tovertafel - Magic Table for William Carey Court

 Fundraising ideas for schools, churches, and youth sports teams

Thermometer By ABC Fundraising®

The Tovertafel is an innovative healthcare technology that enables care professionals to provide the best care to their clients in a user-friendly way. The ingenious click-and-ready system makes it easy to install the Tovertafel in the clients’ familiar environment.

This is especially important for elderly people living with dementia, as it prevents overstimulation and unnecessary agitation. Simple in installation and use, profound in effect.

The Tovertafel isn’t only designed for elderly people living with dementia, but can also be used by people with intellectual disabilities

3rd of October Vasse Blue Tree Painting Day

Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 9:30 AM – 12 PM

Dawson Nature Playground, Amberjack Avenue, Kealy

The Blue Tree Project is a renowned, national cause that aims to raise awareness of mental well being. Come down and join us in support of this worthy cause as we paint our very own Blue Tree on Saturday, 3 October.

Three special guests will join us for the morning:

- David Barton, the Founder of Men’s Walk in Busselton;
- Jon Eddy, key member of Shining Hope WA & advocate for mental health awareness and suicide prevention in the community; and
- Headspace Busselton who provide counseling and support services and will be available for a chat throughout the event.

Here at Vasse, we believe social connection, knowing your neighbours and feeling that you can be a part of something within your community plays an important role in mental well being.

Our Blue Tree signifies the importance of community connection and a sense of belonging - whether its walking, talking, eating or painting together.

The Lions Club of Vasse will be putting on a BBQ and running a giant jenga painting station, so there will be something for everyone to do and enjoy.

To register text Nicole Andrijevic, Community Development Officer, on 0466 399 363 and include the name of all attendees (including children).

This project has been sponsored by the Vasse Development Partners and Lions Club of Vasse.
